Following are the guidelines related to servers (while purchasing for YOTTA use) and for co-location customers who bring their own hardware (servers) to be placed in YOTTA DC:
- All servers should be energy efficient and have power management features.
- All servers should have capability of virtualisation
- The average utilization rate across all servers hosting virtual instances should be optimum
- The average number of server instances that are consolidated onto each machine should be optimum
